A few months ago, I photographed the founder of Parallelus, a Huntsville, Alabama based web development company. Andy Wilkerson got his start designing blog templates freelance, and now heads a small company doing similar work.

Envato, which runs ThemeForest, a marketplace for custom web themes, recognized Andy as an “Power Elite Author” for hitting the $1,000,000 mark in theme sales. I was hired to shoot some portraits and “behind the scenes” images (clearly a buttoned-up work environment), which they featured on their website when they celebrated “Parallelus Day” in his honor.

It was a lot of fun to spend the weekend with Andy and his family shooting photos and learning about Parallelus.

With the dubious honor of being Copper Coin’s first official senior portrait client, Celeste was a wonderful subject, at ease in front of the lens. This despite her usual role as photographer rather than subject: she’s studying photography and plans to pursue a photography career after school.
We had a low-key, casual session in the Avondale neighborhood of Jacksonville on a gorgeous spring afternoon.
